Through targeted bombing of civilians in Gaza and a deliberate starvation campaign blocking food, water, or medical aid from entering the Strip, Israel is waging genocidal violence on the Palestinian people.
In the occupied West Bank, Israel maintains a system of violent apartheid which restricts the freedom of Palestinians to live, work, and study.
These are systemic breaches of international law and violations of Palestinians' human rights.
The University of Cambridge is complicit in these crimes.
1. The University invests its enormous wealth into the arms industry, funding the development of weapons and technologies which Israel systemically abuses to commit atrocities.
2. The University partners and collaborates with arms companies, lending its world-leading expertise to deadly research.
3. The University maintains academic links to Israeli universities and institutions, legitimising the apartheid structure that defines Israeli society.
We cannot remain silent or continue as normal in the face of genocide.
